-

Item Number: DI-CR-KA-04

Product Name:
Chain Adjuster

Function:
DIMOTIV swingarm chrome cover gives your bike a strong American cruiser style. The chrome surface treatment significantly improves wear and corrosion resistance, keeping the finish looking like new.

Material:
Stainless Steel: Contains 16%—26% chromium and up to 35% nickel. It generally has the highest corrosion resistance, cannot be hardened by heat treatment, and is non-magnetic. The most common type is 18/8, or grade 304, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Typical applications include the aircraft industry, dairy, and food processing industries.

Surface Treatment:
Chrome Plating: Chromium is a silver-white metal with a slight blue tint and high hardness. Depending on the plating bath composition and process conditions, its hardness can vary within a wide range of 400–1200 HV. The chrome layer has good heat resistance; when heated below 500°C, its luster and hardness show no significant change. It begins to oxidize and discolor above 500°C, and hardness begins to decrease above 700°C. The friction coefficient of the chrome layer is low, especially the dry friction coefficient, which is the lowest among all metals. Therefore, the chrome layer has excellent wear resistance.
