The Yamaha YZ250F is a completely new bike for the Blue crew and it looks like refinements to this bike will continue to drive the progression of the 250cc class.

Yoshimura jumped into development on this very important model quickly, even bringing in the Australian Factory Serco Yamaha Supercross/Motocross Race Team for feedback on how to make the new system all it can be.

Big increases in torque and HP in the low-to-midrange performance is just what the new YZ craves and what we've delivered on the new Yamaha.

Characteristics

Pentagonal shaped sleeve

The front muffler cap functions as a poly-resonant chamber which helps reduce noise

Two-stage stepped baffle

Carbon fiber case back

Exhaust terminal in stainless steel

Repack kits, optional inserts and spark arrestors are available for all models
