A workhorse for years, the Kawasaki KLR 650 has always been a great bike to get into sport riding.

The most recent version of the KLR sees the bike get an updated water-cooled 652cc single-cylinder engine that now incorporates EFI.

This prompted us to update and improve our exhaust option for Kawasaki's big single-cylinder.

We stayed with our off-road workhorse, our RS-2 Race Series, and then refined the baffle and tailpipe to optimize power for EFI.

The results are amazing with a massive weight loss of 3.22kg. the KLR not only has more usable power, but it handles much better with all the weight removed to the rear.

Speaking of performance, the new KLR enjoys great performance with our RS-2.

During our off-road development, we were able to make huge gains in the middle of horsepower where the big-cylinder engine spends most of its time, making the KLR more fun and predictable.

Our R&D team was able to gain power across the spectrum, increasing maximum power by 7.1%

while maximum torque has been increased by 5.9%! RS-2 for KLR comes with a USFS approved spark arrestor installed.
