HYPERPRO Steering Damper Mount for CB400 96-16

-

Item Number: DI-DMK-HO-01-H

Product Name:
Steering Damper Mount (does not include HYPERPRO steering damper)

Product Function:
The faster a motorcycle travels, the less friction it has with the ground. When encountering uneven road surfaces or gravel, the feedback force from the ground can cause the handlebars to shake rapidly, making it difficult to control and potentially leading to accidents. The function of a steering damper is to effectively suppress handlebar movement, allowing you to control your bike more steadily and increasing riding safety.

Product Material:
6061-T6 aluminum-magnesium alloy: silicon 0.4%~0.8%; copper 0.15%~0.4%, magnesium 0.8%~1.2%; chromium 0.04%~0.35%, tensile strength 42,000 psi (290 MPa), yield strength 35,000 psi (241 MPa). For plate thickness less than 0.25 inches (6.4 mm), elongation is 8% or more. For thickness greater than 0.25 inches (6.4 mm), elongation is 10%.

Surface Treatment:
Standard Anodizing: Anodizing to the same specifications as iPhones and tablets, featuring corrosion resistance and UV resistance, with weather resistance lasting up to 60 hours. (Fading only begins after 60 hours of continuous exposure to 100eV UV intensity; natural sunlight UV intensity is about 3~10eV).

Dacromet Anti-Rust Treatment: Fixing screws use top-tier Dacromet anti-rust treatment, a corrosion-resistant coating composed mainly of zinc powder, aluminum powder, chromic acid, and deionized water. Dacromet is widely applied, and top-tier European motorcycle models use this anti-rust technology.
