The midweight class has one more option for today's riders, now Triumph enters with the Trident, an entry level 660cc three-cylinder with good power and above average torque.
The new triple is packed with potential and we were excited to start development on this new British naked.
A cousin of the Triumph 675 Daytona engine, this new three-cylinder just begged for more horsepower.
The stock exhaust is a one-piece unit that required a complete Race Series system.
Our development team set out to develop the Trident with the AT2, our brand new high performance muffler.
The system is part of our Race Series range which means it is made to be used on a closed course.
Perfect, this bike is going to be a GREAT track/race bike!
The AT2 looks simply amazing on the new Trident.
We don't know how else to put it, but the Race Series AT2 system with our exclusive Works Finish has completely transformed this naked.
The new 660cc three-cylinder engine is screaming with our new system!
Maximum hp increased by 6.9% and maximum torque increased by 1.3%.
Part of our secret sauce is in the manifold, where we've been able to incorporate a specially designed pre-muffler that increases horsepower and
adds a very unique exhaust note to the all new British Trident.
The weight savings are substantial, dropping almost half the weight of the stock system, the complete AT2 Works Finish system comes in at an impressive 4.12kg.
This bike on the track will be a blast now thanks to the full AT2 system.
With a lighter weight that makes this machine already light and with more power across the power spectrum, our complete AT2 system
it will be the point of reference for runners from all over the world.
